We started our trip from our home in Sydney, 4 weeks ago. We have seen a lot and done a lot. We have traveled over 8500km and visited 4 States. We are currently in the Kimberleys in Western Australia. Here are some of my favourite things I’ve done.
We went to Dubbo Zoo, the animals were great.
We went to Uluru and the Olgas, the walks were rocky and long.
Next up was Kings Canyon. We did a really big walk and there were lots of big rocks to climb.
We visited a reptile park in Alice Springs, they had some awesome snakes and reptiles.
We went swimming in the hot springs at Mataranka. The hot springs were really warm and we spent a lot of time swimming there. Mataranka is my favourite part of the trip so far.
We did a Jumping Crocodile Cruise from Darwin. We watched crocs jump out of the water, it was awesome.
We went to some great Markets in Darwin, the Mindil Markets. We had some really yummy food and watched the sunset.
In Kakadu National Park, we did a cruise through the Yellow Water Wetlands and we saw some more crocodiles and lots of birds.
On the walk to Maguk Falls I lost my tooth.
We went for a cruise in Lake Argyle and we swam with freshwater crocodiles, we couldn’t see them, but we know they were there because we saw them climb into the water right where we swam.
We are now in El Questro in the Kimberleys and we had to drive through some water crossings to get in.
This morning I found a Western Brown Snake and it was eating a cane toad!!! It was amazing to watch.
